What if I am involved in an accident?JeffKind2021-05-16T04:37:37+00:00
We do not recommend this. It is difficult to know if the water is potable when renters fill the tank at a variety of locations. We recommend you use bottled water for drinking and cooking. The water from the fresh water holding tank is fine for washing and bathing.
Do you have baby car seats and cribs available?JeffKind2021-05-16T04:37:27+00:00
Yes. You may not travel into Mexico. Also, Death Valley and other desert areas are not allowed during the hot Summer months or if the outside temperature exceeds 105 degrees. Vehicles are not allowed on logging or other non-public roads such as the Apache Trail in Arizona.
What kind of facilities might a campground offer?JeffKind2021-05-16T04:37:05+00:00
ABSOLUTELY! You’ll actually save money! Generators take about 2 gallons per hour, so if you run the generator for 10 hours each day that will cost you almost $60 in gas alone! Full hookup sites generally provide power, water, a sewage drain and sometimes cable tv connections. This makes camping so much easier, quieter and more convenient. Without hookups you are “dry camping” which we recommend only for experienced RV’ers or campers. All campgrounds that have hookups at least have a 30amp connection.(this is what we use on our rv’s)

The hitch is locked but we do allow towing for a $100 fee to unlock the hitch to help maintain the extra wear on the transmission, engine, etc. We do allow towing with all sizes of our RV rental motor homes. The RV rental motor homes are only equipped with a receiver hitch, so you would need to provide your own tow bar. We allow a maximum tongue weight of 250 lbs. and a maximum gross weight of 2,500 lbs. Single axle trailers ONLY. Towing or hitch fees may apply. You will need to inform us of your intentions to tow, so we can reserve a RV rental motor home specifically with a receiver hitch.

When can I pick up the RV rental motor home?JeffKind2021-05-16T04:35:15+00:00
We operate like a hotel. Check In during the PM, and Check Out before NOON. Guests come to our office pick-up address to pick up your rental RV. Check-out orientations start at 4:30pm and are scheduled every 30 minutes after that. Your RV is likely returning the same day around NOON so you will not be able to pickup early. This is why it is important to reserve the appropriate days you will absolutely need the RV. For example, if you need to leave your home at 9am to get to your campground for checking at 3pm , you’ll need to reserve the RV for the night before so you have time to pack and leave in the early AM. We need the 4hours from Noon until 4pm to to service and sanitize returning RVs. Check with us to arrange delivery and pick-up of your RV rental motor home to your home or office for an additional charge of $199 plus $3 per mile (pickup is the same).

Renters may be able to obtain a FREE “Binder of Insurance” for the dates of your rental from your current auto insurance company. It simply extends your automobile’s full insurance coverage while you operate the rented RV. Call your agent to see if your policy offers RV rental binders. We will provide you with the information you need to give to your agent.
